Beautiful
What better way to illustrate the exquisite aesthetics of woven metal mesh than to surround people with it? Inside of the George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, TX, the architects from Corgan Associates have done just that, displaying three-stories of Cambridge Architectural's Bead pattern with the sleek Tableau attachment hardware.
Large skylights above 16,000 sq. ft. of the stainless mesh provide a natural light show during the day, allowing sunlight to shimmer off the brilliant material. Below the mesh panels, 80 plasma monitors display flight information, yet it's easy to forgive any passenger for gazing upward and finding something a little more intriguing.
Functional
As a part of the wide open landscape found at Continental Airlines' Terminal E, Cambridge's mesh has to do more than just look great, it must perform as well. While the large windows above permit light to enter the terminal, it's the stainless mesh that radiantly directs the sunlight throughout the interior. With up to 4,000 passengers moving through this area per hour, Cambridge's durable metal mesh also plays a key part in controlling acoustics.
Affordable
By combining the unmatchable aesthetics and proven functionality exclusive to LandscapeInteriors systems, Cambridge Architectural provides an affordable option for your next interior design project. An experienced staff with dozens of projects under their belts is available at every turn to offer assistance, making sure costs stay on track.
Sustainable
What do you do with 16,000 sq. ft. of stainless metal mesh after it has completed its lifecycle? Recycle it. Made with recycled material and 100 percent recyclable, Cambridge's mesh and attachment hardware support sustainability. LandscapeInteriors systems may contribute to the NC (New Construction) category for LEED® requirements. Cambridge Architectural is a member of the USGBC®.
